“Why Obama Now” is a newly created animated short about the Economy and the 2012 Election by Lucas Gray, the animator for The Simpsons and Family Guy. Taking a speech Obama made at the Associated Press Luncheon in April of 2012 and matching it perfectly with a plethora of tightly choreographed animations and caricatures, the almost three and a half minute piece breaks it all down for you to help make your decision in November even easier. We’re not sure whether any consent or cooperation was exchanged between The Obama Administration and Mr. Gray, but we believe that if and/or once recorded, presidential speeches become public domain. Visit the ‘sources’ page of WhyObamaNow.com to catch the fact that, without question, a formidable amount of research took place to turn all the absolute facts into an easier to digest and comprehend format and style. Take a few minutes out of your day to watch the clip below and feel free to share this post with anyone you know that would be interested or anyone you know that might still be sitting uncomfortably on the fence as to which candidate they should support with their vote.
This piece is absolutely amazing and lays everything out so crisp, clear and in comparable rhythm with the hourglass of today’s attention deficit generation. Kudos to Lucas Gray for not only being responsible for the genius visuals of “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy” but this film explaining the bare facts. He dresses it all up so universally that even a fifth grader could understand it along with the ignorant and uninformed American adults that need a reality check for sure. Czech it owt!
