turn me on switch wwtton : anatomical wind powered light switch

what will they think of next?

we bet the description in the title had you scratching your head right?

designed by chris haines, this new light switch is activated when you blow into its ‘ear’.  when we first saw the photo on geekologie we winced because we thought it was a vagina.  can you tell we haven’t seen many vaginas in our lifetime up close and personal?

Anatomic Light Switches

Ear-Y Switch Plates by Chris Haines “Turn Me On”

Turning on your lights at home has never felt so sensual than with the Chris Haines ‘Turn Me On’ switch plate.

Designed to replace the more traditional plate, the Chris Haines Turn Me On switch plate was designed in the shape of a human ear and is made of cast plastic. The unique feature of the switch plate is that turning it on requires a gentle, and sensual, blow into the ear.

This little light switch gives new literal meaning to the not-so-hot pick-up line, “Is there a light switch nearby, because you just turned me on!”

Instead of using your fingers… just blow into the ear and it will turn your lights on.
